Introduction of the Center for Korean Language and Korean Studies
On October 9, 2002, Hannam University established the Korean Language School as an affiliated educational institute where foreigners and overseas Korean residents can improve their Korean language ability and come to understand Korea's culture and history. The Center for Korean Language and Korean Studies is planning to provide a National Korean Community Education course to bring about the internationalization of the university by offering Korean language courses, practical education, and introducing rich cultural programs.
Korean Language Course

Regular Program (16 weeks)
Spring Semester (March-June), Fall (September-December)
4 hours¡¿5 days¡¿16 weeks = Total 320 hours
2.
 
 
Special Program (8 weeks)
Applications for admission acceptable any time in spring, summer, fall, or winter
2 hours¡¿3 hours¡¿8 weeks = Total 48 hours
3.
 
 
Intensive Program (4 weeks)
Summer (August), Winter (January)
4 hours¡¿5 days¡¿4 weeks = Total 80 hours
Admission Procedure
1.
 
 
Students must either send or personally deliver an application form along with all required documents. Students who need to get a visa from the Korean Embassy or Consular office must include two original notarized letters from a Korean sponsor with the application form.
2. Screening process: The screening process will take one to two weeks.

4. Payment of tuition fee
The entire tuition fee will be refunded if the admission is cancelled because of visa problems.
Those who wish to obtain a visa will be sent the visa application documents after payment of their tuition fee
  is received.

Apply for your visa at a Korean Embassy or Consulate (or at the Exit and Entry Control Bureau in Daejeon,
  South Korea, If you are presently in Korea)
