At Hannam University, we plan to be one of the leading private schools in Asia by the year 2015. We will accomplish this through this our long-term development plan, which means a new and innovative college model that can respond to the ever-changing demands of our social, cultural, political and economic areas.
Because our government has announced nation-wide college restructuring programs, we especially need to recognize that the next 10 years will be crucial to our school's development. For that reason, we created the 'Hannam Innovation 10-10 plan' as the main project of our long-term development plan. Success with our plan means we will innovate our college in 10 different areas in the next 10 years.
In the educational areas, we will build our "Hannam Education Model," which will enable our outstanding students to fulfill their dreams under our motto of fostering moral intellects, creative specialists and service-minded leaders.
For the student's scholarship and employment-assistance programs, we will amplify students satisfaction figures by improving welfare conditions, providing ample scholarships and 'easy-access' and successful employment-assistance programs. |

In the teaching and research areas, we intend to be one of the top ten universities in Korea by securing the highest quality professors, enhancing the university's research support system to the level of developed countries and fostering two or three institutes which will represent our school. For the specialized areas, through the development strategy of humanization, globalization, localization and specialization, we will ensure our position as one of the highest-rated and most competitive private universities in korea.
Furthermore, in the industrial-educational cooperative area, we will be one of the leading and most distinguished colleges through training professionals, amplifying research capabilities and creating an industry-education connected network.
Hannam University will most certainly, overcome the limitations of being a local college and will be recognized world wide as a competitive and prestigious university that will be recognized worldwide.
For the localization part, we will lead our local education, culture and service communities to dedicate ourselves to the local community with our mission and responsibility for the development of our local society.
Regarding globalization, we will set up the Global Hannam system through education, internationally specialized people, internationalized campus and globalization of our Hannam Christian mind. |
