 Hannam is setting forth an ambitious mission to meet the demands of advanced studies for this globalized world. |

 In a time of unprecedented international convergence and interdependence, never has it been so important for universities to think and act globally. Hannam's International Exchange Programs (IEP) run in two ways: offline and online. IEP is affiliated with over 72 distinguished universities and other institutions of higher education in 17 countries, where around 40 students pursue course work for Hannam University resident credit every year. Bangchon Internationalization training center sends 70 students every year to countries in East Asia and the United States. The school of Chinese Studies and Economics sends students to the University of International Business and Economics, Zhejiang University in China through its 3+1 program. Hannam has also opened graduate programs in Information and Technology for faculty members of the universities in the Philippines. Using the advanced internet infrastructure, Hannam university pursues the globalization through its online academic exchange program. Through our diverse programs, students and staff at Hannam are able to gain relevant international experience.
At the same time, our programs bring students and staff from all over the world to experience Hannam. The Student Exchange Program (SEP) provides students from Hannam's sister universities with the opportunity to study for up to two semesters at Hannam University. |

| Exchange Student Program |
| Outstanding freshmen and sophomores are selected to attend one of our sister colleges as exchange students for one or two semesters. Foreign students from our sister schools are also invited to participate in the Korea Language & Studies Program. After registering at Hannam, our students can go abroad to take courses with transferable credits. |

| Hannam Graduate Scholarship Program |
| Although international experience is critically important for the proper educational and career development of students, it can also require a substantial financial investment. The Hannam Graduate Scholarship Program, started in 1985, enables the student population to study abroad with its support. Award recipients are chosen annually by a competitive selection process, and they must use the award to defray eligible study abroad costs. Awards of up to $4,000 are made for Hannam graduates who want to study abroad at the graduate level. |
