한남대학교는 진리·자유·봉사의 기독교 정신 아래 새로운 지식과 기술의 연구와 교육을 통하여 지성과 덕성을 갖춘 유능한 인재를 양성함으로써 국가와 사회와 교회에 이바지함을 목적으로 한다.

We are dedicated to our church and the world by endeavoring to produce well rounded intellectuals with high moral values. We offer students a variety of opportunities to acquire insight and knowledge through the Christian precepts of truth, freedom and service.

기독교 원리하에 대한민국의 교육이념에 따라 과학과 문화의 심오한 진리탐구와 더불어 인간 영혼의 가치를 추구하는 고등교육을 이수시켜 국가와 사회와 교회에 봉사할 수 있는 유능한 지도자를 배출함을 목적으로 한다.

the primary goal of Hannam University is to educate competent leaders who will serve the world and their church based on Christian principles. Students are required to follow a very strict curriculum in order to gain new knowledge and skills so that they will make faithful leaders equipped with intellect and virtue in compliance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education.
